Thank you all for believing that we can work together as a community and make a difference in each other's lives. I have personally been touched by the outpouring of support for the Philadelphia Marathon on November 23rd, 2008. I am running this race to support Back On My Feet. This organization helps homeless people get back on their feet through the discipline of running.

Our health is a precious gift and we can turn work together to turn around the obesity statistics that hinder growth and development!

It is this comment that makes it all worth it to me - "Nicole this is awesome, good luck to you. I too have been focusing on fitness. I have lost 65 pounds and feel so much better, I have 40 pounds left to lose but I know I can do it with exactly the steps that you have outlined. Good luck in the marathon. I hope that will be me soon ;)"
